Jonathan Lindner, MD, is a cardiologist who specializes in cardiac imaging, microvascular dysfunction, and coronary artery disease. His research focuses on advanced imaging, gene and drug delivery, aortic stenosis, acute myocardial infarction, and atherosclerosis.
He is the Frances Myers Ball Endowed Professor and the vice chair for research for the Cardiovascular Division.
Lindner grew up in a miliary family, which made him sensitive to culture differences and backgrounds in medicine.
He earned his medical degree and completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas. He completed his cardiovascular medicine fellowship at the University of Virginia.
