Margaret Moore, MD, is a pathologist who specializes in surgical pathology and hematopathology. Surgical pathology is the study of tissue removed during surgery to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease.
Hematopathology is the study of diseases and disorders affecting blood cells, which includes anemias, leukemias, and clotting disorders.
Born and raised in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia, Dr. Moore received her undergraduate degree from the University of Richmond. She then completed medical school, as well as her residency and fellowship training, at the University of Virginia.
