Bio & Overview

As an interventional radiologist, Adam Beardsley, MD, loves the wide breadth of treatments that he can offer to his patients — treating everything from superficial venous insufficiency to liver cancer. “Interventional radiologists skillsets are both unique and versatile; this allows us to work with our colleagues in other disciplines to provide treatments within any organ system and a very wide range of conditions,” he shares. “I enjoy interventional radiology in particular because it allows me to apply the skills I've learned and the knowledge I've gained through my years of training and experience in order to find the best way to help my patients on an individual basis.”

Dr. Beardsley’s clinical interests include interventional oncology, portal hypertension, uterine fibroid embolization and prostate artery embolization.

Dr. Beardsley earned his medical degree at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He completed a diagnostic radiology residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He then completed additional training in vascular and interventional radiology during a fellowship at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University in Chicago.

Dr. Beardsley was born in Hinsdale, Illinois, about 30 miles outside of Chicago. He is married and has two sons. He and his family enjoy hiking, bike riding, and swimming at the beach. Golf and bowling are among his favorite pastimes.
